My complaint:

Few days ago I have ordered an oven and cooking plate for my kitchen. I got it today when my wife was at home and everything would be ok if… The old one would be picked up. When my wife asked the driver to take the old one he said that he is got no time?! I HAVE PAID FOR HIS TIME!!! And according do dutch law they are obligated to pick up the old one, that is why people are paying the “verwijderingsbijdrage”.

“Bedrijven zijn wettelijk verplicht om je oude apparaat in te nemen en om dit fatsoenlijk af te voeren. Dat kost ze niks: de NVMP komt ze gratis ophalen.

Weigeren winkels om je oude apparaat in te nemen, dan kun je bij de gemeente aan de bel trekken. Winkels zijn hiertoe namelijk wettelijk verplicht.
