My complaint:

I have been flying with Transavia, today back from AMS to GRO. flight hv5763 22/05/2011

As always Transavia is a warm welcoming company. I always had a good experience with transavia,
in contrary of today.

The cockpit-crew arrived at the gate with the family, and boarded their family 10 minutes prior to all passengers. one of them was seating in a wheel chair. The strange thing to see, is that these passengers where all placed at row 1abc. In my opinion its forbidden by law to place passengers with a reduced mobility in row 1ABC.
Of course this could be one of the privileges Transavia gives to their employees. to board the family first, and put them in any seat they want. but row 1 abc or any wing seats should be excluded from this.

The captain, MR mulder, was flying together with his first officer MS. Mulder.
I have counted totally 4 times that captain mulder came out of the flight deck during flight.
One of these times was during climb.

I have been flying a lot in my life, and lately also with transavia, But i have never seen the flight deck leaving their seat so many times. Captain mulder did this 4 times, including during the climb fase of the flight.
All these four times he stayed a long time talking with his friends/family.
Also, the 3th time he walked all the way down the cabin to row 10 ABC, where the rest of the friends/family was located. He went over there for a chat, and then invited an older lady to join him and to come up to the front.

Also the First-officer, Ms. Mulder came out during flight to say hello to the family and friends, and then went to the toilet. this only took 3 min.

I can imagine that its very pleasant to have family on your flight, but totally the flight deck has been left for 5 times during the short flight to GRO, with a total time of more or less 15-20 minutes. I have noted that during these periods of leaving the flight deck a cabin crew-member was present in the flight deck, what in my opinion was normal. the cabincrew member being present at the flight deck was the youngest, female cabin crew.
Al the times when she came out, it seemed that they had the biggest fun upon in front of the cabin. she might have know ms. Mulder personal, i dont know, but after a while, the whole overall organization in front started to look like a circus.

the rest of the cabin crew where very great to all passengers. very friendly en highly experienced, actually what i am normally used off, flying with the dutch.

We arrived at GRO 10 min early. that was perfect. We said goodbye to the friendly purser. Meanwhile captain mulder was out off the aircraft standing below the stairs.
It probably took mr. Mulder a couple of years to get all his stripes on his shoulder, but i really think he should do something about his attitude. in my opinion to full of him self and to arrogant.
I have never seen any pilot whit such an attitude before.
Besides safety wise, a couple of things went wrong this flight…..!!
Mr mulder can take an example of his first officer, regarding her integrity and personal attitude, which looked quite more professional. maybe next times they can swap their stripes 😉
Lets keep the flying a serious and safe thing! and dont make a joke of it, like today!
