My complaint:

N.S. have made my life a hell! having had a yearly traject abonnenment for many years now this year they have really lost the plot! I paid my last subscripion (termijn 10)in March and I fully expected to have two free months as advertised before they started the new calender year but one month later in May they were already deducting the new yearly amount of 283.50 from my account again! between July and August I was on vacatio in Thailand and they could not apparently activate my accout. In September however, they removed two times the sum of 283.50 cents within the space of two weeks! Then this morning I received this letter from the Intrum Justitie to say I must pay the staggering sum of 2286.74 euros within one week otherwise the sum will rise yet further! I find the whole process outragious and if N.S. railways are wondering why there are so many people delaying distrupting trains by jumping on the lines they should look at their own antiquated policies first!

Desired solution:

I think the solution should be given more time to pay the outstanding sum of 283.50 euro\'s without incurring moe debt and more costs which quite frankly are completely unjustified.

13 years ago - This latest threat from Intrum justistie is equally absurd. In their latest letter they have warned me of the following : Het openstaande bedrag inzake onderhavige vordering bedraagt tot op heden € 298,66. Wij verzoeken u vriendelijk voornoemd bedrag binnen 15 dagen na dagtekening te voldoen op rekening 7019 ten name van Stichting Beheer Derdengelden Intrum Justitia Nederland, onder vermelding van ons kenmerk 33703580. Now given the fact that we have had to borrow a considerable amount to pay the full termijn for a yearly abonnement of almost 2.000 euro's to NS and having been given little or no notification from Intrum Justitia of their demands for a further 300 euro we find the whole thing totally UNJUST! If the matter goes any further we will be left with no alternative but to place this demand in the hands of our solicitor and take the matter to court if need be. How this organisation can expect hard working people to suddenly find an extra 300 euros as suddenly as this is beyond belief! We are trying our very best to meet all our debts but this quite honstly too much to cope with given the very narrow time frame that they have proposed. In principle we would be prepared to pay this sum but only over an extended period of time, for example in monthly installments ( say three termijn) in order that we can fulfull our other financial commitments elsewhere.
