My complaint:
I had the APK test for my car with Kwikfit Maastricht in april 2011. I don’t speak Dutch. The mechanic said that I need to change one tyre because it has the wrong size, and he can do it for around 60 Euros. It was new and I said I will return it to the tyre shop.
He didn’t say that the car didn’t pass the APK. He said you can now safely ride your car and you will not get any fines.
I got a fine from the RDW for 106 Euros, I called them and they said your car didn’t pass the APK !!!!!!!!!
When I asked why the hell didn’t the Mechanic put the spare tyre if this will fail the APK, the customer service agent said you can contact the manager of Maastricht garage.
I tried to contact the Manager of Kwikfit but they don’t care about customers. he is alwyas travelling , will call back but never did.
Worst customer service ever. I doubt that the mechanic didn’t want to change it because he will get commision from selling me the tyre.
Desired solution:
Kwikfit should pay the fines I got from RDW.
