My complaint:
Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing you this letter because I have a complaint about the trip with your company that I had on 4 June 2013. I bought the tickets on your website (www.flypgs.com/nl) on 27 May 2013 with the following reservation code: XTW2X1.
When the protests has been started, the Dutch government warned us on their website as a negative travel advice since 31 May 2013 (http://www.rijksoverheid.nl/onderwerpen/reisadviezen/turkije). I made a phone call to the Dutch and Turkey embassy in Holland for some travel advice, they told me to do not go to Turkey. Especially in my case, because my stay was very close to Taksim Gezi Park. I have been recommended to change the date flight or cancel the flight. Once I made a phone call to the Pegasus support for a solution, they told me it was not possible to change the date on that moment nor get 100% money back. I paid total € 843,92,- and about € 200,- will be refunded only. I did not agree with this.
My parents are in alimony and could not miss that € 643,92,-. It took them very long time to save the money for this vacation that should be relaxing, save and fun. None of these was it. We were forced by you to go on vacation. The vacation was not relaxing, not fun at all and unsave. We were afraid to go outside, stayed inside all the time. The Pegasus support was not friendly to me at all.
Second: Once we have been arrived in Turkey, our luggage were lost for about 1 hour. We made a report about this and they found it later for us. We were not alone that the luggage were lost.
Third: On 9 July 2013 we made a decision to go back to Holland. We have paid € 264,96,- more for the tickets which were extra cost where we did not know anything about it. But Pegasus forced us to pay this otherwise we were not able to travel back. This took us 2+ hours to arrange the tickets. The support here was also very unfriendly and irritated to us.
Fourth: The airplane had more than 1 hours delay without any reports after I was asking why our flight delayed. Also there was a child crying for hours in the plane, many people made a complaint about this but none of Pegasus employees could do something. This was very annoying. Also, I made a taxicab reservation in Holland to drive from the Dutch Airport to Holland. Because of the Pegasus delay we were forced to go by the last train with incurred ticket prices.
It would be much appreciated if you return the money I paid for the trip and the extra cost as total € 1.108,88. I do not wish to receive any proposal, as I am not pleased with your services. A prompt reply would be appreciated.
I am willing to take legal action if we do not come to a real settlement. Also the story will be posted on Facebook and other Social Media (trip advisor) with your flight. We are really not happy with the services of Pegasus and our trip that you forced us.
We are looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Desired solution:
The amount of € 1.108,88 euro can be refund on the bank account where the tickets with reservation code: XTW2X1 has been paid.
