My complaint:

Sorry for my english, ik spreek alleen klein beetje nederlands, but I still have to say something!

This week on thursday 24-03-2011 if i’m not mistaken, a new show called “echte meisjes in de jungle” was aired on RTL5. The show takes place in Suriname.

one of the tasks in the show was for the girls to kill chickens.

I have a full understanding that this is a Surinamese tradition and I fully respect taht.

but the stupid girls on the show, didn’t perform this tradition quite like the Surinamse people do! did they!

Instead of quickly killing the chickens, without pain, the chickens were firstly terrified! they were tortured and one was hit on the head with a wooden stick!

I was shocked and traumatized by this and let me tell you, this is not entertainment!

It was tasteless, hurtfull and I think illigal! and I have every intention of taking this matter to the proper authorities.

Desired solution:

My idea of a solution is to either take this stupid show off the air, appologise publicly for harming and torturing the chickens, and contribute to the benefit of chickens in some way, there are a million ways.
